Dr. Nicole Ameli

“I strive to create an enjoyable dental experience for all patients by taking time to get to know them, allowing them to openly communicate their questions and goals, and making them an active part of their dental journey. I always want to provide high quality care with compassion and comfort and make sure I’m improving my skills through continuing education.”

Proudly raised right here in Las Vegas, Dr. NikNik (Nicole) Ameli graduated from Palo Verde High School before attending the University of Notre Dame. While working towards her Bachelor of Science degree in Science Pre-Professional Studies with a minor in Anthropology, Dr. Ameli was an active and highly awarded member of the ND Fighting Irish fencing team. After earning her degree, Dr. Ameli came home to Las Vegas to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. While there, she earned Honors in the UNLV Prosthodontics Program and was a Psi Omega Inductee to the National Dental Honor Society.

After dental school, Dr. Ameli completed her general practice residency at the Denver Health Medical Center. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Nevada AGD, the American Dental Association, and the Nevada Dental Association.

A lifelong student, Dr. Ameli’s interest in academics and continuing education has given her significant experience with restorative dental treatment, extractions and treating trauma/emergencies. She is also skilled in providing comprehensive dental care including endodontics and implants. Dr. Ameli has always had an active interest in sports – in addition to fencing, she was a three-sport athlete in basketball, track, and cross country in high school. She continues to live an active lifestyle and can often be found fencing, playing basketball, and mountain biking. She also loves to spend time with family & friends, cooking & baking plant-based foods, and enjoying both music & movies.
